Plants are sold in the following ways.

Bare Root ( B ) plants are unpotted.

4” Light Weight (LW)

4” dia. pot with potting soil. LW can be shipped UPS.

6” Marginal POD (MP)

6” dia. pot with coir wrap and potting soil. Marginal or shallow water POD can be shipped UPS.

6” Lily POD (LP)

same as the marginal pod (MP) but with water lily. Lily POD can be shipped UPS.

Potted (P)

Potted plants are planted in nursery stock pots with garden soild ready for sale. Potted plants cannot be safely shipped UPS and must be picked up at nursery or delivered by truck or van.

Native Plants are sold in the following ways.

Plant pricing is per tray.

5.5" pots (_5.5)
are packaged 8 per tray.

Quart pots (_qt)
are packaged 10 per tray.

50 plug cell (_50)
are packaged 50 per tray.

72 plug cell (_72)
are packaged 72 per tray.

Important fish ordering information.

All fish are shipped next day delivery for $55 per order.
The minimum fish order is 10 per fish variety. Maximum fish order is 50.
This could be 10 each of up to 5 different fish varieties or any combination thereof as long as 10 or more are ordered per variety.

Packaging Key

Pod: A pod is a Maryland Aquatic Nursery invention of growing our plants in a special coconut fiber mesh. Roots and soil stay stable and intact during packaging and shipping. But also the plants thrive and grow faster when planted within the natural mesh by the professional or consumer.

Marginal Pod: The term marginal in this instance is used to describe the area around the pond or stream that is the verge or the bank terrain where water and soil meet. A marginal pod is a plant with our natural coconut mesh wrap that thrives when planted in this environment.
